At G2Phsyio we take a different approach to most traditional therapist in treating headaches and migraines. We use leading treatment techniques and state-of-the-art equipment for you to get a premium service. Headache and/or migraines can occur when distortion or rotations occur of the upper neck bones due to muscle spasms in the upper neck. We are hands-on therapists which isolate the specific bony structures of the upper neck and target trigger points of the upper neck muscles to reduce your headache symptoms. We treat the problematic area and help reduce the symptoms of your headache. Your initial examination from our physiotherapists can provide you with a thorough, accurate diagnosis to the location of your painful headache and/or migraine when scans and other tests have come back inconclusive.
Most of all, the treatment is safe, educational, and precise, you to better understand the reasoning behind your headaches and/or migraines.
Our mission is to help you take control of your headache and/or migraine without needing to continually reach for medications.
You will also be given an easy-to-follow and accessible exercise program through your mobile phone which eliminates the stress of trying to remember the exercises given to you in the clinic.
Headaches and migraines vary in presentation, duration, intensity, and cause. Many of these are treatable by Physiotherapists and at G2Physio we have the skills and training to treat these differently to most Physiotherapy clinics. See below the most common types of these.
